If your organization is looking for a highly
energetic, unique and informative guest speaker at its next
function, look no further than Frances Tanner of TannerTalks.
Frances has been presenting for many years in and around the
Niagara and GTA regions.
Her motivational talks and
workshops are full of “eye opening” information about a
variety of topics focusing on visual impairment. These range
from personal experiences with media activity (talk shows,
videos, awards), sporting life (skiing, curling,
canoeing/kayaking, camping, backcountry tripping and tandem
cycling) to her business worlds (corporate, hospitality,
not-for-profit, entrepreneurial). Frances can provide: tips
and tricks for all areas of daily living; products and
services that may be of assistance; and how to approach most
visually impaired or blind people you meet. She also talks
about the importance of maintaining a positive attitude
throughout life. Frances is well-known for creating her own
“let’s make this work” techniques, and her biggest motivator
is when she is told “you can’t do that!”
There is much
more to Frances’ wheel of success, and each presentation is
sure to touch upon some aspect of YOUR own life. All content
is tailored to your group’s specific requirements according to
the audience composition, length of time permitted and main
topics of interest. Her package includes a portfolio of
photographs “Days of Dreams”, technical/assistive aids and, of
course, her guide dog Miss Maisey.
Frances leads a full
life as a University Graduate, community volunteer, avid
sports and outdoor enthusiast, experienced traveler,
entrepreneur and has had many exciting adventures. The sudden
and total loss of her vision 25 years ago has done little to
slow her down, merely given her a new and different
perspective. She will deliver to your group a talk that is
always interactive, entertaining, interesting and
helpful.
You may contact Frances Tanner
